About the Team
Team Event Horizon is a Quake 3 tricking team focused on team tricks. We started in 2004 introducing team based tricking for the first time.
Team Motto:
“Never look down to test the ground before taking your next step; only he who keeps his eye fixed on the far horizon will find the right road.” ~ Dag Hammarskjöld
Meaning of the Team Name: Event Horizon was chosen for the team name not as an astronomical term or the movie but to explain that this team is always bringing new things, and going beyond the regular boundaries to show things never done before. When the sun comes up over the horizon it is the shining representation of a new day and new ideas.
Team Tag:

Our team tag is supposed to look like the sun coming up on the horizon. It is unusual for a team tag as most teams use the first letters of the teams name as their tag. We feel that this tag better represents the meaning of our team name then a tag like EH.
